What information should a picking list contain?
Common information includes order reference, SKU, product description, bin location, required quantity, picked quantity, batch details and picking status.
Can I use this for e-commerce orders?
Yes. The template can be used for small e-commerce fulfillment operations as well as general warehouse order picking.
How does the Excel version calculate shortages?
Short Qty is calculated as Ordered Qty minus Pick Qty. If the full quantity is not picked, the line is identified as PARTIAL or NOT PICKED.
Can I record batch and expiry information?
Yes. Batch / Lot and Expiry Date fields are included for products requiring traceability or FEFO control.
Can I print the picking list?
Yes. A separate landscape A4 PDF is included for manual warehouse picking.
